DJ Barron S absolutely crushed it at our wedding! We had a smaller guest list and were worried about keeping the dance floor alive, but Barron kept the vibes high all night and got everyone dancing for hours! Our guests can't stop talking about how much fun it was. She also perfectly coordinated music for the special moments, AV for speeches, and the outdoor ceremony and reception. Leanne was great to communicate with and answered all of our questions in the lead up. Highly recommend!
We hired Chris for our August wedding at Grouse Mountain to handle ceremony sound, MC duties, and the reception, and he was excellent across all three. The ceremony sound was flawless. There was no feedback, no dead mics, and no technical hiccups of any kind. If you've been to a wedding where the officiant can't be heard, you know how much that matters. I would highly recommend Girls on Wax to anyone planning an event! We hired them for our wedding, and Leanne was incredibly helpful in arranging both a DJ and a sax player for us. We had the pleasure of having Peter Allgood as our DJ and Caley Honeywell on sax, and both were absolutely fantastic! They kept the dance floor going all night long and made our wedding so much fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better team!
Sarah-Hannah DJ’d our wedding on Saturday and was absolutely fantastic. She handled everything brilliantly—from the ceremony music, to creating the perfect atmosphere throughout the evening, to keeping a very raucous dance floor going late into the night. She judged every part of the day perfectly and helped make the whole celebration feel seamless, joyful and completely us. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.
