RecommendedAfter reading horror stories about other Girl Scout councils, I think we have the one of the best in the nation. As a troop leader, I ask that folks keep in mind that the leaders are VOLUNTEERS and most are doing the best that they can.

I have been in Girl Scouts since I was 5. I have loved every minute of it. I am now a Girl Scout Leader and I love my girls as if they are my own! I don't plan on leaving Girl Scouts anytime soon.

Great staff, really sweet people to work with.
I decided to join Girl Scouts with my daughter as a bonding experience. I bit off more than I could chew. I tried to make our meetings fun but unfortunately you can't make all mom's happy. I was belittled, yelled at, and cursed at. I finally decided to throw in the towel after a year. I feel like Girl Scouts should back up their leaders when complaints like this come in.
