We stayed at BW Acadia inn. I have issue with my AC losing power two nights in a raw. There was a hair on towel. When dialed 0 no one answered the phone. Request new towels and never received them. Contacted hotel regarding issues and their response was that I don’t know how operate AC, they don’t have any employees with let long black hair ( their housekeeper were south American with black long hair) I should have kept dialing 0 until someone answered. The Hampton Inn - Concord is invested with ants and the bathroom has what I consider black mold. With the Holiday Inn under construction, the hotels were booked. I am asking for a full refund for my three day stay and am surprised they are saying no. I am disappointed and hopefully this review will bring this issue to light for the Giri Hotel Group.
They purchased the Haraseekett Inn. And have removed all charm and character, destroyed the Broad Arrow Tavern, and have replaced it with a boring faux fancy restaurant just like every other hotel has. They also got rid of afternoon tea and all the other features that made the Inn stand out. You'd be better off staying at the Hilton Garden.
I find it difficult to understand why representatives of a corporate owned (newly acquired) resort would rather force someone to keep their ownership interest and have a disgruntled owner with an axe to grind, rather than allowing them to part ways on a mutually agreeable basis, as they have allowed others to do.
