Had to pay another electrical contractor to finish the job we'd paid Jamie Jamieson to do! We used the (fantastic) electrical contractor he employed to do the work to complete our connection. This contractor is still awaiting payment from Jamie for several jobs including ours. This may be because Jamie is possibly operating under different business names making it hard for people to track him down. Paid 50% deposit & have heard no more from Jamie. Will not answer phone. Contacted Vic Building Authority regarding his registration - exists but no details available. I recommend you stay away.
Jamie was great to start with, promised parts that he couldn't supply for more than 8 months. When it was installed was very quick to want payment for a half done installation. He doesn't answer phone calls, doesn't fix issues with the system. He also says he will talk with the manufacturer about the issues, but then does nothing. I have since found out he installed a mish mash of parts, some from Solarhart and some from solar edge. Both different companies, we were initially only shown Solarhart information. Jamie was great pre-sale and installation for our 8Kw system, using premium Solar Edge equipment. He was quick to demand payment on completion of the work but once paid, he has not answered one of my phone calls or emails since. Subsequently, we have a solar installation that did not have approval for the distributor, was severely export limited and we still do not have our meter reconfigured to be paid for exports - now 9 months after the installation.
