Katrina is our favorite! She's very on top of needs and we appreciate it, having kids with us. :)
The food was really good but it took over an hour for us to get a single deep dish pizza. The table across from us received theirs in about 20 mins. I don't know what the issue was since nothing was communicated at all, we didn't even get an apology for the extensive wait. I will probably just go to a different location the next time I want Giordano's. Also the bathrooms were dirty and don't have proper locks on the stalls.
We have been wanting to try their pizza. We ordered a pan and thin crust. $76?? For 2 pizzas? Only 2 toppings each! Flavor was just ok and not comparable to other local establishments. Not trying to cut them down but trying to be honest. Rosatis is pricey but their pan and Chicago style are worth the money.
Soup was supposed to be Minestrone but tasted and looked like vegetable soup with a little bit Italian seasoning added, no pasta like traditional Minestrone. Owner is arrogant and won't listen to critical feedback. Just cause he's Italian doesn't mean he knows all Italian food, wich he acted like he does. Not a good combination!
