I grew up in Harvey, IL and Geneo’s Pizza is a staple. Yes the owner is a little rough on the edges and dry, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t make delicious pizza. Those who know, know to keep the conversation short, pay and enjoy. There’s a reason why he’s been in service for so long. After 30 years, this pizza hits the spot.
My nephew lives above the pizza spot
I am 80 years old and remember this establishment being in existence while l was growing up. I ordered pizza, requested little cheese but still got a good amount, and wish that had been applied to the meat for which there was very little on the pizza. Additionally, l have had pizza that was far more tasty and given to me with a smile and a nice attitude and even an “enjoy” would have been nice.
