We recently hired Gino’s for sod installation. When they installed the sod it was dried out because it was sitting on their truck for hours. They laid the sod without putting any fertilizer down as they said it was not needed. Fast forward to now, we have uncontrollable amount of weeds poking up through our new sod because the sod wasn’t laid close enough. When we contacted Gino’s expressing our concerns they neglected the issue and haven’t stood behind their work. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Terrible experience with getting our lot graded and then sod on our new home. Was a train wreck from the beginning. They quoted incorrectly and then added a charge for more dirt the day before work to be done and even that amount was inadequate to get the job done correctly. The grade is terrible. They then rushed to get the sod down after it sat in hot sun ALL day. Placement of sod was terrible. Did not lay close enough-gaps all over which allows for weeds to breed.
