Went here after the Cubbs game, was recommended it by a local, good service, good selection, good prices . All in nice bar for a relaxed few beers
Best bar tenders and bouncers in town. Bar tenders make great drinks, vibe is great, location is great. A girl was cut off and the bouncer handled the situation with professionalism when she was escalating. He was polite, firm, and respectful. He was professional and maintained control of the bar’s safety and kept the vibe relaxed even when the girl was filming and harassing the staff from outside the window. Next time I’m in, I’m buying that guy a shot. He earned it. You guys rock! Great for the girls, gays, and theys!
Was excited to visit Gman tavern- was let in and sat at the bar on my phone waiting for my boyfriend to return from the restroom. When he returned, we were asked to get up and told we needed to leave because they didn’t want to serve us even though we had already paid for the concert. They said they thought I was too drunk. This has been my home for 12+ years! Amazing people, atmosphere and energy. Great service. Day time afternoons are reserved for Jeopardy! And the rest, we stay for the bullshit.
