I decided to call in to work and to go to the emergency room. I didn’t even tell my husband because I assumed they would tell me the same thing Gina did. But that feel of doom was so overwhelming I had to just try. I’m so very thankful for the er physician who took my symptoms very seriously, turns out I had multiple large blood clots in my right lung as well as in my intestines. I was transferred to bigger hospital ICU where I was for over a week. I was right. I could’ve dropped dead at any moment. I’m one of the lucky ones... read more
