So this is my experience one day my auntie had a stomach problem and it turns out that she has a stomach infection we went to the Johnson Memorial hospital in gimli and we waited in the emergency room for at least like 5 to 9 hour waiting time there was no security entrance like in Winnipeg and my auntie was screaming in pain and barely any staff members we're helping her and besides the emergency room was a busy since it was afternoon and night and she didn't get treatment for a long time finally when she got her treatment ... read more

Showed up late in the evening due to severe pain from a fall and bruised rib. I received excellent, top care from the nurses, X-ray technician and Dr. Aday. Thanks to everyone.

The hospital is small but serves the needs of the Gimli community. The hospital has the necessary units to treat patients. Unfortunately, the emergency department does close on occasion due to lack of doctors.

I broke my right leg in November of 2024. From the ambulance staff to the wonderful nurses, I must say that this hospital is probably the best I've ever experienced as a patient. Emily and Sam (two nurses I had the pleasure to deal with), are perfect examples of dedication and commitment required to help patients. I can honestly say that this is the best hospital, bar none.
