The hospital is small but serves the needs of the Gimli community. The hospital has the necessary units to treat patients. Unfortunately, the emergency department does close on occasion due to lack of doctors.

I broke my right leg in November of 2024. From the ambulance staff to the wonderful nurses, I must say that this hospital is probably the best I've ever experienced as a patient. Emily and Sam (two nurses I had the pleasure to deal with), are perfect examples of dedication and commitment required to help patients. I can honestly say that this is the best hospital, bar none.

As a former contractor that has worked in this facility and a patient of one of the "doctors", I can confirm that all the negative reviews are true. **** Read them before ever sending a loved one to this health center.**** My "doctor" seems to always be tired and looks like he just rolled out of bed at every single appointment. He half listens to me, pulls out his phone, finds an answer to my symptoms and tries to get me out of there. I could just as easily have gone onto webmd or Google. What kind of "healthcare" is this? Words can’t describe my thoughts about how broken this system is in general, but especially the interlake. I’m disgusted with the protocols and the fact that there are no doctors available for urgent care What a joke
