Exceptional care. Horribly expensive. As another said the most expensive cost of the entire ordeal. By far. Then pushes all billing inquires to third party in California who is unwavering in their collection efforts. Make sure you're dying before calling 911.
Got picked up at Bally’s Casino and taken to Lakewood. No medical services given, EMTs let me throw up on my clothes before giving me a vomit bag, and charged almost $2200 for the service, almost as much as hospital with doctors, nurses, and testing. Absurd charge. No wonder the medical system is broken. Not sure how Gilpin County Board justifies these type of charges.
I couldn’t be more thankful for the kindness and care the EMTs and staff showed my family when we needed it the most. They were calming, professional, and made sure my son made it to a higher level of care safely. A million thanks to you all.
