Great place to get your car sorted out even book a mot and take it for you thumbs up
Was very hesitant to write a poor review as we've been very long term customers with Gilnahirk Tyres. Unfortunately the last three encounters with them have been awful. 1. Replacing an axle: The mechanic stripped one of the main bolts and didn't bother replacing it. They handed me back a car with an unsecured axle which made an horrendous clunk and needed further repair. Additionally, they completely forgot to do the other job I asked them to do in the car. 2. Good prices and helpful staff. Called and was able to get into before they closed with no issues half an hour before. Only took 30 minutes in and sorted.
I left my car in to have a coil spring replaced. I had to take it back five times before the job was finally done, as it kept knocking. It turned out the wrong springs had been ordered in the first place. No discount, no refund, just wasted time and frustration. Never again!
