My Yeti was delivered there by an accident .. an employee took it upon herself and delivered it to me after hours with her own vehicle. Other than that the shopping experience there is top notch, 5/5
This store is always awesome!! Well worth the drive from Durham for things that Clarington doesn't have.
Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Walking into the store we were met with an employee who was unnecessarily rude, literally seconds after we walked into the store - we were in a few minutes before closing (we didn’t realize), and instead of politely informing us (which we would have been apologetic about, and returned the following day) we were spoken to incredibly rudely. We live around the corner and frequent this Home Hardware frequently. We’ll shop elsewhere now.
My Brand New $4,665.67 Cub Cadet Lawn tractor, purchased on April 11, 2025, from Gilmours Home Hardware in Port Hope. I bought BRAND NEW, instead of used because I didn't want to have these issues. They actually charged me for a PDI. I found CHEWED WIRES, MOUSE PISS, BOLTS BARELY THREADED INTO THEIR HOLES, LOOSE BATTERY CABLES, 2 RIPS IN THE SEAT. I'm sure there will be more as i continue MY OWN INSPECTION.
