It is a shame what the new owner has done to this once wonderful business. As a customer for over 20 years, I have to leave - "clean" items returned still dirty, lost items never replaced, receipt of items that didn't belong to us, phone calls, emails and texts that were ignored ... we tried for months to stay with this new owner, but he doesn't care. It's a real shame. Former owner, Marty Dlugatz, was professional, smart and a super nice person.
Atrocious service. I brought in a suit a week ago to be dry cleaned and to have a button sewn back on. I was handed a ticket that said the suit would be ready on Wednesday. I came in Thursday and was notified that the suit was not ready. I then called Saturday morning and was notified that the suit was still not ready. This was a full 3 days after I was told it would be ready. If I had not gone into the business I am sure I wouldn’t have gotten the suit back for weeks. RecommendedI just had a Zipper repaired on a pair of jeans at Gilmans. I am SUPER impressed with the job! The Zipper that was sewn into the pants was done BETTER than the original Zipper! A nice Heavy Duty Zipper was replaced on a pair of jeans I thought would have to be thrown out, an expensive pair of jeans! I was THRILLED.. Plus they picked up and delivered to Livingston Manor!! The price was unbelievable too!! Thank you to Gilmans Cleaners! I was so impressed.....
Their customer service is second to none in the area. They go above and beyond to provide a spectacular customer experience!
A huge thank you to Marty and the women for the excellent job they did in cleaning and restoring French Linen Roman shades to their original whiteness. They saved the day!!!
