I studied Martial Arts in NYC with excellent teachers over 30 yrs ago. After relocating to PT, I recently began studying at Gilman Studio. Michael and the instructors are up there with the best. I've learned more in a month about so many more aspects of Tai Chi Chuan for self defense & Chi development than I had previously learned, in the same time frame. Nice studio setting with good energy, dedicated students and a great view of the Olympic Mtns.!
Excellent instruction in the full Yang style Tai Chi Chuan curriculum. Certified to teach by Choy Kam Man in 1973, Michael Gilman is a Master practitioner and teacher. In 1994 he was awarded the Grand Champion Medal in the prestigious Taste of China All Tai Chi Championships. These classes and the classes of his trained teachers have something for everybody, Beginners and Advanced Practitioners. My experience with the Gilman Studio warrants five stars!
