A great place to board you pets We love Gilshire Kennels. They always give extra attention to our little dog. They have warm indoor areas that the dog can run & play in. You can also get extra treats for the dog if you want. We definitely will continue to bring our animals to Gilshire.
highly recommended I have had both my older dogs (both have issues being away from home) stay with Gillshire and when I pick them up they have never shown any signs of distress, unlike other kennels. Highly recommended.

Been brining Duke here for three years and wouldn’t take him anywhere. Gillshire takes excellent care of Duke, and he needs it. Duke experiences flare ups of SIBO that require me to provide a special diet along with meds and enzymes. During a flareup he also experiences anxiety that causes him to scratch his face and ears all up when left alone. I had to drop Duke off for a stay at Gillshire during one of these flare ups and they took wonderful care of him; they fed him his special diet and gave him his meds and paid lots of... read more
Gillshire is a fabulous place to leave your pet. We board our dog for long periods of time -- this last time, two months! -- and we are always happy with the excellent care he receives. Liz, the owner, is helpful and so knowledgeable about dogs. I cant recommend Gillshire, enough.

Great place to board your pet! Ive seen and experienced alot of boarding kennels, alot of which I would never go back to. Ive worked at a couple, and boarded my dogs at severlal thoughout the years. Gillshire Kennels is the only place in the Tacoma area that I would ever board my dogs or cat in the future. They keep very clean grounds and all the dogs get fresh water day and night, freshly made beds, toys, and even radio.
