I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude and provide feedback regarding my experience with Dr. Gillian Harrison, who performed my cavernoma resection surgery in 2024. From our initial consultation, Dr. Harrison impressed me with her deep knowledge and professionalism. She took the time to explain the intricacies of my condition and the surgical procedure, ensuring I fully understood the risks and benefits involved. We went to Dr Harrison because my husband had stage 4 lung cancer that had spread to his spine. My husband and I met with Dr. Harrison to discuss his medical issues and she took at least 2 hours with us at the initial appointment to review his MRI, chief complaints and to evaluate him. She squeezed us into her surgical schedule later that same week for this urgent surgery and very thoughtfully explained the spine, the causes of his issues, and the corrective measures. She was VERY patient with us (we had lots of questions) and clearly desired to make sure our concerns were answered. She was honest with us about the exp... read more
