late-night POUTINE!! – I went here after D Street on a Sunday night (open 'til 2:30 AM) and was amazed to find authentic poutine! I got a burger, too. The food was diner fabulous. The owner, Steve (I'm pretty sure), was very cool. I will definitely go back.

bad food and trouble – if you really want to get a great dog or sausage then LAWDAWGS is the place to go!! they serve the BEST food on the planet. if your in portsmouth you must stop by and eat at that cart, i have never had hot dogs and sausage as good as lawdawgs. the home made relish is the best thing ever it is a sweet then hot pickle blend that will knock your sox off much better than flo's. 5 stars in my book!!!

Go for the experience, not the food – Eating at "Gilley's" (as known by the locals) is an experience. Food quality is fair, but for dogs, burgers, and grilled cheese, it's fine. Just tip them well or else, expect to be insulted after you leave.

good, simple food – If you've got a hankerin' for your basic lunch fair, Gilley's is the spot. It's tiny red wagon may not look like much, but once inside, you're in for a treat. From the best hotdogs you can get outside Fenway to burgers, fries, chili, etc, on down to various desserts, I don't think there's a thing on that menu that I don't like. May not be exactly a dieter's paradise (mmmm- chili-cheese dogs...), but great for a quick, simple lunch break or dinner.
