The Starter went out in my 96 Impala SS. Im not from the area so I googled and read reviews. A few folk mentioned fair pricing, so I tried Gillespie. - Not the experience I had. .charged $360 for Carquest remanufactured starter, a part I priced at $230, same retailer and part number ( no way I can buy it cheaper than them, thats had the original price as a markup!) Charged $150 diagnostic( for a nondealersgip, not a good price and any mechanic I have used doesn't charge diagnostic if you let them do the work - to earn repeat... read more
We use Gillespie Tire for our locksmith vans at River Region Locksmith. They have done a great job every time, for a fair price! We are very satisfied with the work there.

Had a very intermittent issue that was leaving me stranded on the side of the road . Talked with Jacob about scheduling and gave the best information I could describing the problem . A few day later they were able to duplicate the problem and diagnose the cause and get me back on the road . Thank you again!
