I love my home and the location. But I'm trying to figure out how did my rent go up ever year $20-40 to this year it's going up a whole $240 dollars more! I been here for 4yrs starting at $960 to $1250 starting this April. Oh yeah "Market rate" I was told! I'm wondering if it has anything to do with all the new stores they built near by. Well I hope hallway carpet in the building is getting replaced this year and some paint. Lived in one of their properties (Avenue Flats) for seven years. The building was poorly constructed and with time, issues became prevalent. My apartment's windows leaked so badly, I would have puddles inside when it rained. The HVAC system was messed up, and my central air would stop working or the aux heat would kick on, depending on the time of year. Wood rot around the doors. Smelled super weird inside.
