I recently had Gillece replace the hot surface ignitor and flame sensor on my 7-year-old Goodman gas furnace. The total charge was $1,400, which I later found to be 3–4 times higher than typical local rates for the same work. The technician was polite, but I was not provided with a detailed written estimate or itemized invoice before the repair, only a price.
