LAUNDROMAT - the one and only in Gilgandra - it's attached to the Lodge Motel but not run by them. See photos to see the Real Estate Agency that runs it. No-one ever on site, NO CHANGE MACHINE. The washing machines are large and deep and the dryers (2) work well (the smaller, newer one goes for longer but dries well and the older larger one only takes a short time but doesn't quite do the job). All in all it's OK coz it's the ONLY ONE in GILGANDRA.
This business is no longer used as a motel but is being rented out as semi or long term period. There is no reception and no room service as expected. I am staying here as my temporary work has organised one unit as an accommodation. Very outdated facility but it apparently does not bother me.
I found this motel to be very clean, convenient and above all a very friendly place to stay they rang the RSL and they came and picked me up and took me to a very nice club for a great meal in comfortable surroundings . I would highly recommend this motel for value, service and comfort. Mike
