Gilfillan's is great! I only have great experiences at Gilfillan's. I never have to search for someone to answer a question, and I have always found the advice they give to be helpful and from an expert's point of view. Especially when it comes to paint. I have yet to find a better place for paint.

Disappointed Gilfillan's is our local hardware store. They have a limited selection and short business hours. However, I felt that I needed to support my local business instead of giving my money to Home Depot. It was 2:50 pm when I called to asked if they had an item in stock and I was met with a rude employee, who said they were already closed. Gilfillan Paint & Hardware I buy from this hardware store all the time. The salespeople here are very friendly and helpful. If they don't have what you need in stock they will special order it and have it for you in just a day or two. They have mixed paint for me on several occasions when I needed a hard to find color and the color is always perfect. In my opinion you get a lot better service here than you do in the large home improvement chain stores.
