Chris Giles built several pieces of fine furniture from Red Oak for us. These included Audio Tower, Computer desk, Telephone Desk, and a large TV Console. beautiful pieces.
When we remodeled our kitchen in 1991, with semi-custom cherry cabinets, the space we allowed for a refrigerator was, we hoped, big enough for any future replacement. The cabinet above was 67 inches from the floor. We never dreamed that almost 30 years later almost every fridge on the market was over 70 inches tall, and the one we wanted was 71-1/2 inches.
