Mary Ellen did an incredible job making sure my bridal gown to fit like a dream. I also decided to turn my mom's wedding dress into my second look for the reception, and Mary Ellen brought that vision to life perfectly. Mary Ellen and Tanya made my wedding dress alterations so fun and easy! They made sure I felt comfortable in the studio, as well as on my big day, which was so important to me. Mary Ellen really took the time to listen to how I wanted to alter my dress, which included adding the sheer jacket on. She made my vision even better than I could’ve imagined it would look.
I’m beyond grateful to Mary Ellen for making it possible for me to wear my dream wedding dress! I can’t recommend coming to Mary Ellen for wedding gown alterations enough. My wedding dress journey started by quickly finding a mermaid style dress that I absolutely loved. She has done my wedding dress, my bridesmaid’s dresses, my mom’s mother of the bride dresses, my sister’s bridesmaid’s dresses, and I am sure there will be more to come. Gilded Social Alterations was recommended by a friend. My wedding was planned fairly last minute and Tanya helped to get me scheduled right away. I needed alterations on a BHLDN (Anthro Bridal store) wedding dress + a bustle added. Ohio does not have a BHLDN store, so I was a bit nervous as the stores in states where a BHLDN is located have alteration businesses selected who regularly work with their dresses.
