I had an amazing experience with Gilded Social!!! I came to Mary Ellen with my mom's wedding dress from 1988 (see pics). I had no clue what to do with it but I knew I wanted it incorporated into my wedding. She was so helpful, and gave such good insight and of course made it happen! Mary Ellen did an incredible job making sure my bridal gown to fit like a dream. I also decided to turn my mom's wedding dress into my second look for the reception, and Mary Ellen brought that vision to life perfectly. The bubble skirt was AMAZING and it was the best way to honor my mom! Mary Ellen and Tanya made my wedding dress alterations so fun and easy! They made sure I felt comfortable in the studio, as well as on my big day, which was so important to me. Mary Ellen really took the time to listen to how I wanted to alter my dress, which included adding the sheer jacket on. She made my vision even better than I could’ve imagined it would look.
I’m beyond grateful to Mary Ellen for making it possible for me to wear my dream wedding dress! I can’t recommend coming to Mary Ellen for wedding gown alterations enough. My wedding dress journey started by quickly finding a mermaid style dress that I absolutely loved. My feelings about it changed though when the dress came in insanely tight and with a top mesh fabric that had zero stretch.
