The best places for tapas in the city. Food and service was great.
We went here at 5pm in a Friday, not very fully, plenty of room to sit, had reservations. Food was a solid 4/5, we'd recommend. However their service left us with a poor taste. We ordered/ate 11 items at a VERY fast paced, and ordered as soon as we arrived as we have an infant and we knew we have to be quick. And in 90 min mark the server comes and starts counting us down, "well you guys got about 10 minutes now", she comes back in three minutes, "well you guys got about 5 minutes now". Picked Gildas from a Yelp search. Excellent in every way. New to us and an excellent surprise. Food was delicious and the service was spot on.
Third time at Gilda’s and can definitively say it is my favorite spot in KC for tapas. My favorites are the gambas, octopus and patatas bravas. My only complaint is that they don’t offer a discount on pitchers of sangria.
