Gilchrist is an incredible place! It is so peaceful and serene walking along the trails or just sitting on a bench listening to nature. It is the perfect place for a respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I brought books to read and ended up not even opening them! I spent the entire afternoon exploring the property-the stone chapel, the goat area, Windhill Center, the trails in the woods-I left feeling refreshed and recharged. GilChrist is WONDERFUL! I love, love, loved staying there. The entire grounds & scenery are simply beautiful. The cabin homes are truly homes, coupled w/the staff were absolutely the best.
