We had the most amazing stay a Gilberton Outback Retreat... the place is amazing, Lyn and Rod really know their country and their hospitality was amazing. We had an amazing time and can't recommend it enough for special occasions it is a place and moment you will always remember.
I recently flew in to Gilberton to visit Lyn French and the spectacular oasis she has created. Whilst it was only a short visit I was blown away by how spectacular the retreat is, the attention to detail and the view. I’ve travelled to luxury safari lodges and this was better than some of the best I’ve seen. Lyn makes you feel so welcome and she just wants you to relax and do as much or as little as you like. Can’t wait to come back and stay for a few days!
I cannot express how much I loved my stay at Gilberton Outback Retreat. Lyn and Rob made us feel right at home and welcomed us with open arms. The lush greenery, the wide open spaces and the peaceful atmosphere left us feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. The tours through the bush were simply breathtaking. We explored art that looked as if it could be centuries-old and also witnessed pieces of history that told stories of the Gold Rush era.
