The Hotel is a great place for a beer and a feed. Called in for lunch and had the best chicken schnitzel with jalapeño topper $23 Tuesday special. Pint of stout, what else can you want. Staff are very friendly and inviting. Don’t miss this place if you’re looking for something special.
Small bus of 10 seniors dropped in for some lunch, oh what a joy, Linette the 'staff' was brilliant service fantastic, hot roll n butter to start then individual salad bowls quickly followed by impeccable meals. A days outing some beautiful countryside and a superb 'pub' meal, hats off to the kitchen, recommend a visit.
What a gem of a country pub. We enjoyed an excellent meal, wife having crumbed fish and me a chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy. Both came with lovely bowl of salad that wasn’t just lettuce and cucumber. The schnitty was so dam good, thick juicy and panko crumb. Fish had salt and pepper crumbs and wife was very impressed. Chips were thick cut lightly salted and delicious. Both were generous serves, apparently many patrons take half their meal home for tomorrow. We will be back and we’ll tell our friends to call in.
I drive interstate and have experienced some great food on the road. This is certainly in my top 10 favourite's. I had the Beef Schnitzel with the side of salad and no chips. Pepper and mushroom gravy's on the side. The service was amazing. Old school decor and absolutely spotless and thr owners were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.
