Once upon a time, this was an amazing garage. Have been going there for many, many years - since it was Gilbert Family Auto off of Guadalupe. This past year or so things appear to have been really tumultuous for the garage. I have been taking my vehicles to Family Auto for several years. I always felt like they were honest and fair priced up until my last experience. I took my truck to Chuck in January because it wasn't shifting into drive. He called and said it would be between $1200-$1300 he just didn't have the invoice in front of him. This amount seemed extremely high for the work that was done but I trusted Chuck so I told him to go ahead with the repairs.
