I had deep cleaning for pockets in my gums. I was able to avoid surgery thanks to Dr. Coats. He is always professional and friendly. I don't have dental insurance and go 4 times a year, but paying out-of-pocket is cheaper than insurance. The office staff is always friendly and recognize me as I walk in the door.
Well my reviews on Dr.Coats & his staff is just plain AWESOME! I had dental implants done 4, and never had any trouble. i was very nervous at first and had heard so many bad things on implants, but Dr.Coats and his staff made me feel so comfortable & more at ease about doing procedure. I was put under sedation, they were so reassuring during and after procedure. i just love them there & Dr. Coats was amazing. I would definitely recommend Dr.Coats and his staff to everyone.
I transferred my service from Dr. Coats years ago for several reasons: (1) I don't like pain. Dr. Coats was clearly annoyed, rather than concerned, that I was in significant pain during a root planing procedure (through the Demerol and local anesthesia). (2) Apparently dated information and techniques. Dr. Coats is by all accounts a superb surgeon, and is in fact the past president of the Fort Worth District Dental Association.
