I have been seeing Dr. Rice for about a year now after my previous Carilion doctor’s office closed, and I am very pleased with my experiences. He always asks me first thing if I have any concerns I would like to discuss with him. He doesn’t cut you off while you are talking to him and actually listens and addresses it. If he sees a blood test result that is off he addresses it and will get you in to see a specialist if needed. He also asks if there is anything else before he leaves the room.
