Our stay at Giggling Creek for the last 4 days had me awash with relaxation. After lengthy days of house hunting in Southwest Virginia. It was important to me to have a refuge to comfortably call home. Everything from ease of locating the cottage, the ample parking, the well appointed rooms, the abundance of conveniences in the kitchen, and the beautiful grounds. Fantastic place to stay! They had many items that we want in our home now (such as the towel warmer)! The hosts were fantastic and we will definitely book again if passing through!
Wonderful, quiet, peaceful, relaxing stay! Just what was needed to get away from a hectic busy life schedule like mine and just breathe in the fresh air, listen to the birds and quiet, and enjoy the beautiful scenery! This is our second time here and it is just as cozy as the first. We will continue to stay every year as long as it’s available! It has almost everything you need and the hosts are so kind and always available. Very kid friendly yet inviting and warm for adults. The quiet is exactly what we needed. Thank you for another amazing stay! We had a wonderful visit and you helped make that happen!
This is an old house that has been renovated some. The entire property is not well maintained. The doors all stick. Grass was high and needed to be cut. Grill was falling apart. Coffee pot was even full of grounds from last people that stayed. The fancy bed temperature control was laying detached from the bed. Computer was missing from the computer room.
