March 2026 edit: I had an appointment this morning, and they no-showed. They confirmed the appointment four times, including one hour ahead of time, but decided to not show up. They have given me no indication of why they no-showed. I only scheduled the appointment because they sent me an email advertisement. If they don't want business, it makes no sense to me to request business, schedule an appointment, and confirm the appointment four times before abandoning the job with radio silence. Giesbrecht HVAC to the rescue. We had an issue we the ac unit control box, I asked my wife to call Giesbrech, and they listen to her concerns told her they would have someone there by 1Pm. Brian Lane, arrived, and as always he is the consummate professional listen to my wife’s concerns, and immediately got to work, quickly diagnosing the issues and making necessary repairs. Can’t say enough good things about these guys. Zack and Tucker I know on a first name basis from the maintenance services. They are professional technicians and always so polite. I had a problem a couple of years ago and called late on a Friday afternoon. The owner of the company came out on Saturday, replaced a part and said there’d be no charge because it was a part that was covered for 10 years. (My system was 9 years old at the time)
Chandler and the team at Giesbrecht HVAC of Augusta are the absolute best in the city, no question about it. This review is a little personal for me—we were in a tough spot with an older HVAC system that wasn’t cooling properly, and our gas furnace was acting up. We were honestly in a bind. Chandler stepped in and not only diagnosed the problem quickly but also introduced us to a program that saved us thousands of dollars on upgrading our HVAC system.
