We brought Donald Gies in as counsel. He seemed enthusiastic at first and made lots of promises. However, after signing a fee agreement and paying my retainer, he ghosted me for several weeks. His office returned no phone calls and they are currently not responding to any of my emails requesting updates. These guys are the WORST in OKC! They will take your money, but they will not timely return phone calls or emails, and they do not follow the terms of their fee agreement. HORRIBLE!
Update as of 2/18 : The firm replied publicly and invited me to reach out. I followed up via email weeks ago and am currently still awaiting a response so we can review the invoices directly. I worked with this firm about a year ago and just wanted to share my experience to help others. We were billed for dozens of items like internal notes, reviewed emails, or retainer updates, but barely got any actual replies. They were often too busy to respond and we never received key updates, especially regarding state filings.
