Dr. Gidwani is a trailblazer who saved my life as the ONLY expert in her field when I needed care as a child in CLE. I remember her counting my rubber bracelets with me to keep me calm. And her warmth during every annual exam for the next decade. She was my north star in a terrifying situation otherwise. Dr. Gidwani told my wife she had a genetic coding issue that would prevent her from having kids. My wife had 5 miscarriages in 6 years. We went to a U. of Pennsylvania fertility expert, Dr.Batzer, that said a genetic coding issue was not possible. We ended up having 3 healthy daughters. Thank God we didn’t listen to Dr. Gidwani and stop trying. Her bedside manner and scientific competence were both horrific. I hope she no longer practices.
