Mr. Gibson cleaned some serious stains from a small chair and made it look like new. However, he also cleaned our 6-year old navy blue sofa and ruined one sofa arm by apparently scrubbing it too hard. The sofa needed cleaning, but I asked him beforehand if the process would cause the dark blue color to fade. He assured me that he doesn't use harsh chemicals and that the color would not fade.
