I've been seeing Dr. Gibson since I was a child and he has always treated me with the utmost care. The receptionist (his wife of some 50+ years) is well...a little British. Yes, she doesn't come across very warm but upon getting to know her throughout the years she does warm up. I am a little sad to see Dr.Gibson retire; however, after his many years of wonderful service I wish him and Ann a happy retirement.
I would give it a big fat ZERO if there was a rating. Never got a chance to meet the doctor so can't say muca about him. This is simply for the older receptionist and her professional rudeness. Never in my life have I ever encountered such an mean and nasty person who works in a professional practice. Maybe or maybe not is the doctor aware of what's happening outside but I sure hopes that if he does then he needs to address the problem as one of his staff is driving his clients away.
I've been going to Dr Gibson for 9 years. I have never been treated with anything but care and respect. There are no computers, but that is only for scheduling and record keeping anyway. Most doctors (unless they have moved to the iPad or are in ER, use written records anyway. I have been to more modern offices for sure, but he gets the job done and I trust he remains current on developments in the area.
There are a ton of reviews on the web about this office, and about 90% of them all day the same thing. Unfortunately, they are all based on his receptionist (who is not the friendliest lady). However, I feel the need to write a review about Dr. Gibson himself because that is what really matters. This place is an absolute joke. The receptionist is the rudest cretin I have ever had the mispleasire of dealing with. Absolutely no computers in the office, everything is done on a type writer. If you are unfortunate enough to get referred here, get be yourself an extra two hours because punctuality is obviously not this office's strong suit.
