The salesman was great but the service post sale has been a nightmare!!! I had rental furniture until a week ago but had purchased a new living room set at Gibson Savannah a little over a month ago. I put it in layaway until I was ready for its delivery after the rental furniture had been removed. I recently made a purchase for furniture from this store. The salesman was great and made the purchase smooth. However, the post sale has been a horrible experience. I scheduled my furniture to be delivered and was informed it will take 7-10 business days. On the day of the delivery and prior to the delivery I was informed my dresser was damaged in transit and will need to be re-ordered. I received a partial order. My husband and I been running around Savannah to find good priced living room furniture for a friend who lost most everything in a house flood here in Beaufort SC. She spend the night at her daughters, and did not notice the commode was still running. So the septic tank overflowed, and it all backed up in her house. Shady business! When I complained about a tear on my sofa, Robert would not return my phone call, insisted that it was not damaged by his guys because he has known them for years, and that because I moved the sofa 2 feet, I must have caused the damage. Not worth the hassle, not a warm welcome to moving to this state. Find another respected company, ask around!
Great customer service and prices. No pressure sales team.
