Way too expensive and the Detroit, Michigan style pizza and theme is out of place in a SoCal beach community. Unfortunately, our family was not a fan of the tiny pizza sizes or the cheese breadsticks. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for families with kids who just want basic pepperoni pizza. We ended up paying way too much for very little food that we didn't enjoy. I'm sure some folks love this style of pizza, but it wasn't our thing.
We ordered the Out-N-In Pizza & Caprice Pizza. And? WOW! Super yum & 100% satisfied & highly recommend you check them out.
Detroit-style pizza in San Clemente was not on my radar but now it's essential. Thick airy dough, crispy lace-edged crust, sauce on top, pepperoni cups — it's completely different from anything else in the area and absolutely delicious. Super casual, friendly staff, and very fair prices. I brought clients here on a whim and we ended up staying way longer than planned. This place is going to be a local institution. Get in early.
