water pipes broke in my daughters apartment 4 days ago now. bedroom carpet is still soaked. "repair man" put a fan in room and said he will be back next week. that carpet is gonna be so moldy and nothing being done.
The places appear nice, but need updating and most of all a thorough, deep cleaning and painting. Windows are leaky and have moldy residue around the interior frames. Some units have an unidentifiable odor that can't be sourced. I suspect maybe drain problems going on. Snow removal happens, but not in a timely manner. Oven was filthy, never cleaned, and behind and under stove was years of grease, grime and filth. Same thing with refrigerator. Beautiful place... Then it turned ugly. Landlord backed into my father in laws truck the 2nd week we moved in, caused more damage than he believed... It has lead to harassment, him breaking the lease agreement and our 15 day eviction. He feels he's above the law and when things don't go his way you pay for it. Also, he's walked right into his rental units for "inspection" when none was needed and when we weren't home..... Be extremely careful if you choose to rent from him.
