I have been coming to Giao for 5+ years now after moving back to Iowa from out of state. I found a Groupon to get highlights done and took a chance since didn’t know any hair stylists in the area and also didn’t want to spend $$$. When I booked the appointment she helped explain the Groupon and what it covered based on the length of hair - which was also outlined in the details of the Groupon. 1st of all I wish there was (-) stars option so I can rate Gioa’s salon with those :/ Giao is one extremely rude & unprofessional business person I have ever come across in my entire life. I can see her going downhill in no time. Be prepared to find yourself in a dirty and unprofessional room if you ever got stuck having to use her for your hair services. CAUTION- Move on and find someone else !

I called in this morning and some asian lady answered, she's very rude telling me that she doesn't take a walk in customer , then asked me if i have the Groupon coupon i said yes then she said that i have to wait until next month continuing to talk rudely and screaming over the phone i dont know why, then she said that i have to pay extra $50 coz my hair lenght is over the shoulder, she said my hair is too long, to make the story short,,, i would nevet go there to get my hair done,,,Very rude and customer service suck ass,, ... read more

I have been going to Giao for over 15 years. She was the FIRST person I trusted to cut my hair after moving here. I've never regretted it. She's always done an amazing job with cuts, coloring, waxing, and even hair for my wedding. She's always been very honest about what will look good and what won't. I highly recommend her!
