Die Räume waren für die Ankunft der Gäste vorbereitet. ABER: Gereinigt wird mit "runden" Ecken. DOCH: Richtig abstoßend war der Aussenbereich. 1. Der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Eingang war ein Slalomlauf um Fäkalien der Wildtiere. Und ich rede nicht von gerade erst gemachten, frischen . 2. Die Terrasse war nicht zu nutzen, auf dem Boden und den Möbeln überall auch Fäkalien von Tieren. Zur Krönung lag auch ein verwesender Kadaver direkt neben der Terrasse. We loved our stay here. Cottages are roomy, clean and perfectly met our needs for a stay close to Mt. Field and the Tasmanian wilderness area. Checking in was easy and the caretaker Donna was friendly. This is good value accommodation and it was great to see a brochure with information about the area.
Fantastic facilities on a budget. A sweet cluster of cottages that are decked out with modern conveniences and upgraded appliances. Kinda funny to stay there just as a couple because there’s 5 bedrooms but we just kept to the one bedroom with an ensuite where there was a wall heater and electric blankets - luxury! Would be awesome to come in a group of keen hikers, with Mt Field so close by. Thank you for the fantastic food and exceptional service. The salmon was absolutely exquisite—easily surpassing the quality of many 5-star restaurants in metropolitan cities.
