My chain broke yesterday on the way home from work. Walked into the store close to 5pm and the guys were super helpful and replaced the chain for me. Awesome service and super friendly. I’d recommend them to anyone :)
Awful instore customer experience. I arrive to pick my bike up post-service. The bike is right there, behind the counter. I can see it, it's up on the bike stand. I'm also in a rush for work. Owner of this franchise (Gary, I think) is talking to some other customer in front of me. As are two of the other three members of staff. One, a guy, is holding this bike upright, and chipping in on the conversation here and there. The woman is just stood there. Puncture at the end of my commute with no time through the day to repair due to many work commitments this day. Called the shop and they were happy to help. Popped back in later to pick up and was on my way. Super helpful and convenient.
Just bought a pair of Shimano RC300 shoes from Giant Perth, and I have to say, this was possibly the most pleasant transaction I've had so far in 2023! Jeff (who I presume is the owner) was an absolute gentleman, which is particularly impressive given that most bike shop owners I've encountered are a bit, well, douchey. Will definitely prioritise Giant Perth for any future cycling needs.
