This is not a review of this pharmacy, but a review of the specialty pharmacy which I’m forced to use because it’s a pen injection. Anyway two weeks prior to my next injection I called to refill which they have on file but was told they need authorization from my doctor which they would call. They did no follow-up but was told three times from different agents that they would. THEY DID NOTHING! Thank God this is a diabetic drug, I’d be dead by now or be sent to emergency. I used to love GE pharmacy but ended up leaving because the wait times were so long. Moved my scrips to another pharmacy and then ended up coming back here when that pharmacy closed. Unfortunately, only got worse… the staff will pick up the phone and just hang up without saying a word, when you do get through - the staff makes it seem like you’re a bother, say they don’t get scripts when your drs office tells you they received a confirmation of receipt, the staff speaks down to you, the wait times are still beyond long. Another business that puts profit over customers. They sent me a post card about my prescriptions going to this location from Rite Aid closing. So they knew and accepted they would have many new customers. The postcard is obviously all they were willing to invest in the new customers. There are long wait times in store, no one answers the phone, no one picks up when the phone system puts you on hold, and they take an unreasonably long time to fill prescriptions.
