We go to the Giant Eagle store at least once a week and normally it is a good experience, but just have to comment about my experience today...it didnt feel so good. The Giant Eagle in Lewis Center sucks! The new layout is nothing more than a rats laboratory maze! The long aisles with not way out are GEs way to manipulate the customer into viewing more items. I am disabled....I can walk....i refuse to use an electric cart.....but I find the aisles long and exhausting. I feel totally manipulated when I go ther...I mean...when I used to go there.
Major Bakery Issues....twice I have ordered cakes via the phone and they have no record of the cake being ordered when we arrived to pick it up. Most recently I ordered 1/4 sheet cake and it was not ready, they quickly made the order and then found the missing cake. They made a 1/2 sheet cake for their mistake, which would have been great had they only charged us for the 1/4 (which was what was ordered) oh no, we were charged the \$26 for the 1/2 sheet....poor business, very unhappy customer, will not return again!
Clean, friendly, efficient one stop shopping! But the best thing about it is the points you get towards your gasoline purchases! I have paid as little as \$1.75 a gallon recently! You cant beat that with a stick!

Lewis Center Giant Eagle - Quality and Convenience I have a large family of six so grocery shopping is quite a large expense. I have shopped all of the area stores and I've identified which stores I prefer for specific items. Generally speaking, I don't go to Giant Eagle for the weekly grocery run BUT I do watch their ads and sometimes they are very price competitive on grocery commodities.
