Good service, real Italian food, my lobster ravioli was amazing .
The best meal I have had in ages! Went there for lunch and was so impressed we returned for dinner! The chef prepared a halibut dish that was fabulous! The atmosphere was so relaxing and peaceful. We were seated in front of a beautiful fountain in the patio which added a extra special touch. The wine was excellent and the service unsurpassed! Anna was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely return!
I took my family there for a birthday dinner, we picked it love a lot of other restaurants in town. But we're we disappointed, we wanted to be seated in the patio but when we arrived they said it wasn't going to happen. So they seated us inside, we waited 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. Long story short, we ended up out on the patio. Service was horrible, it's just the 2 elderly owners shuffling along, seating you, taking your orders, and serving them, barely. My husband and I came here while visiting Carpenteria and absolutely loved Giannfranco's Trattoria!! Service was impeccable, the husband and wife owners chatted with us, and the food was amazing. We cannot wait to come back.
Such a great experience here. Food was superb and service was fast, attentive and kind. The menu has all of the Italian staples with Franco's own personal touch. The meatballs were *chefs kiss* and Franco greeted us himself! The atmosphere is classic casual Italian, perfect for date night, and complete with photos of the Rat Pack and more on the walls. Love it!!!
