I've been to this location many times but have never had a terrible experience until tonight at 8:15. The cook I assume was upset that we came in when he cleaned up for the night. He started to throw things around in the kitchen, cuss, and yell. He stared at me while I order then continued to cuss and throw things. It was completely disrespectful, and made my family have a terrible dinning experience. I am still shocked at his actions.
Oh my goodness. Amazing food and even more amazing sweets. It all felt very European. Loved it! Go there!
I took friends there on our visit to Louisville because I used to go to the one in Richmond. The coffee and the chocolates were wonderful but the counter staff were horrendous. So much so that it ruined our visit. I most often let poor service slide but the attitude of the 2 girls that worked on Sat 3/5 around 4:30 pm should really be evaluated. Maybe Saturday morning is not a great time to go here. Or at least it wasn't for us. The place was almost empty and the employees were on zombie-mode. After waiting a long time for our food they finally brought the croissants we wanted to start with when we were done eating. And surprise, they were hard and dry. Was expecting more. Oh the coffee was decent.
Very nice lunch. Wonderful salad. The soup was a little saltier than I like.
