Save yourself! Wants the patient to pay for everything. Did not cover a cyst through OHIP without even seeing it saying it is a cosmetic procedure. Cut to 3 months - waiting in emergency as it grew exponentially and now waiting in line for treatment/operation. Whats astonishing is it was called a cosmetic procedure without even looking at it.
I had a great time at this surgery clinic.. I got two cancerous lumps removed and in 20 min I was in. Froze And stitched and omw home.
I had minor surgery on my right hand today. This is the first time that I met the doctor. I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist. I did not have to wait. The doctor had a wonderful manner. Got right down to resolving my problem. They asked whether or not I would want to have the surgery now or wait. I said now. Surgery went very well. The doctor explained everything that was happening. Absolutely miserable experience. Do not listen to your family doctor if you get referred to this surgeon. Demand to be seen by somebody else, even if it takes longer to book. UPDATE: If you are willing to travel a bit to be treated, I recommend asking to be referred to 'wellhealthhtc', in North York. Much better bedside manner to start, but they also have a tool that is the most modern and up to date way to treat this. So far this has been the only thing that has made a noticeable difference.
