The worst experience I've had in my life
Save yourself time and do not go here. There are bad apples who work at the front desk and as technicians who make the whole experience pretty terrible. I had a technician laugh at me for saying that a stye and a chalazion are two different things although they are and I’m not the one who went to school for this. Robin at the front desk actually hung up on me the other day. Not a very good place to go. The doctor at best was just ok. The biggest problem is the staff member called Janet. She was rude and made a rude comment to my wife when she was doing a eye range field test.
I had a piece of metal in my eye. I was nervous when I arrived but Dr. Leder removed it efficiently and without pain. The whole crew in the office was really nice. Cost was 5x less than the E.R visit. I was pleased with the service and would highly recommend them.
I had my first visit to the Prisma Eye Institute. I saw Dr. Oakman and he was excellent! He had an impeccable bedside manner and sense of humor. He really explained my situation in detail. He eased my angst with his great personality. I would gladly recommend him to anyone in need of an ophthalmologist. Yolondra Carter
